学术讲座——Catalytic Enantioselective Redox-Neutral Processes for Efficient Chemical Synthesis

讲座内容:

The development of economical and selective catalytic methods is ofsignificant importance for the promotion of sustainable chemical synthesis. Mygroup at National University of Singapore has focused on the identification ofcatalytic enantioselective redox-neutral transformations that directly convertfeedstock materials to valuable chiral entities with wide application inorganic synthesis. In particular, we have achieved a series of directstereoconvergent “substitution” of readily available racemic alcohols viaborrowing hydrogen catalysis for economical access to chiral amines,N-heterocycles, alcohols and ketones. Recent progress made along these lineswill be discussed in details in this presentation.


主讲人介绍:

赵宇,2002年本科毕业于北京大学,2008年博士毕业于波士顿学院,师从Marc L. Snapper和Amir H. Hoveyda教授,2008-2011年在MIT化学系Richard R. Schrock(2005年诺奖得主)课题组从事博士后研究。2011年至今历任新加坡国立大学助理教授、副教授、院长首席副教授,其主要研究方向包括不对称借氢反应、中环合成。2016年获Thieme ChemistryJournals Award,2018年获Tokyo ChemicalIndustry-SNIC Industry Award in Synthetic Chemistry,2019年获Asian Rising StarsLectureship Award。
